I launched FINESSE by Ashlyn in 2015 with the mission of helping women feel confident and beautiful inside and out.
Growing up, I've always had a passion for visual arts and painting. I discovered the beauty community on YouTube in my junior high school years and taught myself how to channel my creativity into makeup and hair artistry skills. When I was 17, I did makeup for the first time on models for a fashion show. They loved how their makeup turned out and couldn't stop taking photos! That's when I realized I wanted to start my own freelance business. I truly enjoy empowering women with the confidence that a touch of makeup and hairstyling can create. Since then, I've had my work published and featured in several University fashion show look books, magazines, and edits. I've worked with over 750 clients & parties and launched my own magnetic eyelash & eyeliner brand called FINESSE lashes. My products help make applying lashes easy for women who struggle to apply false lashes the traditional method- with glue. As an Ivey Business School graduate and cosmetics connoisseur, I pride myself in creating the best experience for my clients by being detail-oriented, reliable, and tailoring every appointment to the individual.
